Hey, I'm new here , i grew up with 3 collies not at the same time. They were working dogs and when the 3rd one died dad wouldn't get another dog cause he is retiring in 2 years after being a dairyman for over 40 years

See them run in the fields there fast but you actually need to keep an eye on them in case they trap there leg in a rabbit hole :)

Sorry to hear about your dog, lost mine in july this year from cancer, had to be put down.

If you don't want to buy a collie at the minute, try rescue centres that will let you adopt one, it will cost you a lot less as well and you'll gradually get to know the dog.

Or you could look online and see if someone is selling their collie and how much.

Ah.

The last thing you might be able to do is see if any of your relatives have border collies that have breed recently, and ask if they're giving some of the litter away.

If they are go through them, I haven't actually done that with a dog because no one in my family until now had a border collie, but that's how I got my cat saffie, from my aunt.

That's the last thing I can think of.
